Dance Squad
About the
Dance Squad
The Dance Squad
will consist of between 6 to 12 members. Members will perform at all men's
and women's basketball home games. Travel for the Dance Squad will be
minimal. The Dance squad will also put on clinics throughout the year for
local youth.
Practices
Practices are held
three times a week. Practice times will be set by the coaches and are
mandatory. Squad members are also required maintain a proper level of
fitness by participating in aerobic and weight workouts outside of scheduled
practice times.
The Dance Squad
will have mandatory practices during the summer and will attend a Collegiate
Dance Camp in late July and early August.
Scholarship Opportunities
Squad members will
receive a loan of books and tuition scholarship. The tuition scholarship
will cover up to 18 hours of tuition. Out of state squad members will
receive the equivalent of in-state tuition and have to pay the difference in
in-state and out of state tuition rates. Squad members must maintain a 2.0
GPA and be enrolled in 12 credit hours to receive the scholarship. All
