Assistant Women's Basketball Coach and Student Recruiter |

Responsibilities: |
Under the direction of the Head Women's Basketball Coach, the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach and Student Recruiter shall assist with the operation of the basketball program within the boundaries of the rules and regulations of the Jayhawk Conference, the National Junior college Athletic Association and Dodge City Community College. Coordinate recruiting, monitor academic progress of student athletes, scouting, supervise student team manager and student workers. |

Required qualifications: |
Bachelor's degree, prior basketball playing and coaching experience, and collegiate recruiting experience. Must maintain a valid Kansas driver's license. Know and adhere to all NJCAA and Jayhawk Conference guidelines as they apply to basketball. |

Preferred qualifications: |
Master’s degree. |

| Responsibilities: | Assist with the planning, developing and implementing of an athletic training program for the care and prevention of injuries to student athletes (baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, dance, football, golf, rodeo, softball, track, volleyball and soccer programs). |
| Required qualifications: | BS degree in Sports Medicine, Athletic Training or related area; experience as an athletic trainer in a variety of sports; ability to work cooperatively with student athletes, faculty and staff; demonstrable skills in conveying ideas in clear, grammatically correct form, both written and oral; National Athletic Trainer Association Certification or ability to achieve certification within one year; CPR and first aid certification or ability to achieve certifications within 30 days of employment, licensed in State of Kansas or ability to achieve licensing within three months. |
