Responsibilities: |
Dodge City Community College is seeking a full-time Psychology Instructor. Under the general supervision of the Dean of Instruction, the Instructor of Psychology will engage in a variety of learning support and instructional/institutional practices; recruit, advise and mentor students by providing a positive and encouraging environment for learning; and, work collaboratively with the humanities department to include service on various college committees. The instructional load may consist of day/night classes, ITV/distance learning, mediated classes, and on and off campus classes dealing with subject areas: Psychology and Counseling Addiction. Instructor must be able to design and implement new courses to curriculum as needed. |

Desired qualifications: |
Master's degree in Psychology or related field; teaching experience at the secondary, community college, or college level. |

Preferred qualifications: |
PhD in Psychology, Bilingual (English/Spanish) |

| Title: | CNA/CMA Paraprofessional Instructors |
| Responsibilities: |
Under the general direction of the Director of Allied Health, the Nursing Instructor will teach basic nursing courses, facilitate and coordinate student learning in the skills lab and clinical area, develop clinical rotations, prepare and revise syllabi, advise and evaluate students, and maintain student records. |
| Required qualifications: |
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing is required; credentials verifying legal status as a registered nurse in the State of Kansas; experience in clinical area; willing to work towards a Master's degree in Nursing; must maintain a valid Kansas driver's license; and proven ability to work with diverse populations including tradition and non-traditional students. |
| Additional preferred qualifications: |
Master's degree with major in Nursing preferred; previous teaching experience; advanced credentials in a nursing specialty; bilingual (English/Spanish); and a valid driver's license. |

Dodge City Community College is seeking BSN/MSN Nurses to serve as Clinical Adjuncts to teach in the Fall 2008 After Hours LPN/RN program. These courses are being tailored to fit the needs of the non-traditional student and will offer a slower path to LPN/RN completion. |
