Outreach
Dual Credit / Concurrent Enrollment (CEP)
High School Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors can get a head start on their college education by taking DCCC courses during the day, at their high school, with their high school classmates. - These courses are only available to students attending a Dodge City Community College CEP high school.
- CEP students have the same placement and prerequisite requirements as traditional students.
- CEP classes include the same content and rigor as traditional on-campus classes
- Credits earned through CEP transfer to other colleges just like traditional on-campus classes.
- Concurrent Enrollment courses are offered at each DCCC Outreach high school.
- For more information see the DCCC CEP Student Guide
- The CEP program is strictly regulated by the Kansas Board of Regents. View the KBOR Policy.
Outreach & IDL courses
- Dodge City Community College offers instruction at a number of outreach sites in surrounding counties. These may include traditional face-to-face courses or Interactive Distance Learning (IDL) sessions.
- IDL courses use teleconferencing equipment and the Internet to provide a face-to-face student/instructor experience when the student and instructor are not at the same location.
- Outreach courses are available to everyone.
- Most DCCC outreach sites offer evening courses.
- Many of our IDL courses are offered in collaboration with A+ Network - a consortium of local High Schools focused on instruction through interactive distance learning.
- Want to know what courses are available at which outreach sites. Go to the course search and choose the location from the Campus option.
