Psychology
Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behavior. Major areas of study in the field include but are not limited to:
- Behavioral Neuroscience
- Clinical Psychology
- Cognitive Psychology
- Developmental Psychology
- Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities
- Quantitative Psychology
- Social Psychology
Currently, in addition to General Psychology, Dodge City Community College offers coursework in the areas of:
- Developmental Psychology
- Abnormal Psychology
- Social Psychology
Requirements
Requirements include PSY 101 and 102 and additional coursework either within or outside of psychology to reach the required 62 hours for the A.A. degree (please see pages 47-48 of the College Catalog for further information).
