Clyde Tombaugh Astronomy Center

DCCC is home to the Clyde Tombaugh Observatory. (Yes, it's named after the guy who discovered Pluto in the 1930s. Mr. Tombaugh grew up at Burdett, a small town about 50 miles northeast of Dodge City.)
The High Plains Astronomical Society operates the observatory and periodically opens it up for public star-gazing.
