Brian Harvey
returns to Dodge City Community College for his second stint
as the head athletic trainer. Brian had spent the last
three years working at Meade County Hospital, here he also
provided athletic training services to area high schools.
Prior to that, Brian spent five years as the head Athletic
Trainer at Dodge City Community College.
Brian graduated
from Wichita State in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts with an
emphasis in Athletic Training. He also holds
certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist
since 1999. Brian has also completed training and
gained certification as an Emergency Medical
Technician-Basic.
Brian is a
Dodge City native and graduated from Dodge City high school.
Brian attended Dodge City Community College prior to
transferring to Wichita State. His married to the
former Amy Horton and they have three children Zach, Grace
and Morgan.
Brian's hobbies
include hunting, weightlifting, racquetball and barbequing.

Ashley Podschun enters her first year at Dodge City
Community College as the assistant athletic trainer.
Ashley is no stranger to the DCCC Athletic Training program
as she served as a student athletic trainer for the
Conquistadors while attending DCCC
Ashley is a recent graduate of Washburn University, where
she received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training
degree in the Spring of 2011 with a minor in Biology.
While at Washburn, Ashley was a two year member of the Lady
Blue softball team She also served as graduate
assistant coach after completing her athletic eligibility.
Prior to Washburn, Podschun attended Dodge City Community
College where she was a member of the Lady Conquistador
softball team and a student athletic trainer. In 2008,
Podschun earned NJCAA 2nd team All-American honors in
softball as she lead the nation in batting average.
Ashley was also named a Louisville Slugger National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) 1st team All-American
in 2008
Ashley is a native of Anthony, KS and graduated from
Chaparral High School. |
