    Ashley Podschun enters her second year at Dodge City Community College as the assistant athletic trainer.  Ashley is no stranger to the DCCC Athletic Training program as she served as a student athletic trainer for the Conquistadors while attending DCCC. Ashley is a graduate of Washburn University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training degree in the Spring of 2011 with a minor in Biology.  While at Washburn University, Ashley was a two year member of the Lady Blue softball team.  She also served as a graduate assistant coach after completing her athletic eligibility.  Prior to Washburn, Podschun attended Dodge City Community College, where she was a member of the Lady Conquistador softball team and a student athletic trainer.  In 2008, Podschun earned NJCAA second team All-American honors in softball as she led the nation in batting average.  Ashley was also named a Louisville Slugger National Fastpitch  Coaches Association (NFCA) first team All-American in 2008.  Ashley is a native of Anthony, Kansas, and graduated form Chaparral High School.
