Cheer Squad Signs Elmore City-Pernell High School Cheerleader

Feb 11, 2013
The DC3 Cheer Squad signs another great up and coming cheerleader from Oklahoma.  Heather Rene Watson has been a varsity cheerleader every year of her Elmore City-Pernell High School career.  During her four years as a varsity cheerleader, Heather was a Oklahoma Class 2A State Runner-up, Oklahoma All-Region Cheerleader, All-Star Cheerleader, and a level 5 and level 2 National Champion.  Heather has also had success in track and field.  In 2011, Heather qualified for the Oklahoma Class 2A State Championships in the 100m hurdles and long jump.  In 2012, Heather qualified for the long jump again, all while maintaining her grades and staying atop in her class rankings.  Heather plans to continue her education after Dodge City and work toward her B.S. in business management with an emphasis in entrepreneurship.

Coach's Comments: Heather is an extremely talented athlete , she has worked hard in high school cheer/All-star cheer and many other sports as well.  I am very happy that she has decided to come to Dodge next year.  She is a strong addition to the team and I am excited about the possibilities for the future!
