DC3 pitcher Jagger Harjo has signed his National Letter of Intent with Emporia State University. The sophomore from Midwest City, OK had an excellent freshman year going 4-4 with a 2.74 ERA in 65.2 innings for the Conqs. Harjo will anchor the DC3 pitching staff this spring and Head Coach Phil Stephenson had this to say about his ace, "I'm very excited for Jagger to have the opportunity to further his education and baseball career at ESU. They are an outstanding NCAA Division II program and I believe he will be a great asset for them."
Harjo will join a very successful program in Emporia St. The Hornets have made the NCAA D II Baseball tournament 8 of the last 10 years and went to the NCAA Division II World Series in 2006 and 2009, finishing 2nd in 2009. ESU is a member of one of the toughest Division II conferences in the nation, The Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association.
