EMPORIA, Kan. – The Dodge City women’s golf team shot a 379 and finished second at Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Women’s Designated Meet No. 5.
Due to weather conditions, only 18 holes were played.
“Overall, we played well,” DC3 coach Ed Bethea said. “We brought four golfers and was able to finish second in the team standings. They fought the wind, which blew between 30 and 40 miles per hour.” With regionals around the corner we need to continue to stay the course, and hopefully we are playing our best golf.”
Gabriela Clemence shot a 91 and finished fourth, while Brittnee Garcia carded a 93 to finish tied for sixth.
Jodi Saito carded a 97 and finished 10th.
The Lady Conqs return to the links next this weekend at KJCCC Designated Meet No. 6 at Salina.
