    Trent Lare enters his 2nd year at Dodge City Community College.  Before Dodge, Lare ended a 6 year professional career where he was in the New York Yankees farm system for part of 2 seasons.  Coach Lare will help with the day-to-day operations and also recruiting.

    Coach Lare started his baseball career at Coffeyville Community College, where he was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 42nd round after his freshman season.  After a stellar career at Coffeyville, Lare went to Oklahoma State University for his junior season.  He then transferred to Emporia State University to finish out his collegiate career.

    Coach Lare graduated from Lyndon High School in Lyndon, KS and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Studies from Emporia State University.  Lare and his wife, Tarica, who is the Family Director at the YMCA in Dodge City, reside in Dodge City.
