DCCC Outdoor Track & Field Athletes Receive Recognition

Dodge City Community College Outdoor Track and Field student athletes earned a number of honors for their 2012-2013 school year. DCCC Athletics and the coaches are proud to have worked with these athletes and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors.

Dashonda Johnson, a Dodge City native was awarded All-KJCCC Second Team 100 Meter Hurdles in Outdoor Track and Field and All-KJCCC Honorable Mention-Triple Jump in Outdoor Track and Field. Katelynn Slattery received honors as All-KJCCC Second Team-High Jump in Outdoor Track and Field. Martavia Corley was awarded All-KJCCC Honorable Mention in the 200 Meter as well as Long Jump also in Outdoor Track and Field

Ashley Licon, another Dodge City native received All-KJCCC Honorable Mention in the Javelin in Outdoor Track and Field. Daniel Thermidor was named an All-KJCCC Honorable Mention in the 400 meter in Outdoor Track and Field.

The DCCC 4X100 meter team which included Dashonda Johnson, Sydney Hudson, Martavia Corley, and Dyneshia Frashier-Champagne was awarded All-KJCCC Honorable Mention in the 4X100 meter relay, Outdoor Track and Field.
