The Lady Saints squashed that momentum in the second half by dominating both ends of the floor to record a 92-55 victory in the Jayhawk West contest.

"It was definitely a tale of two halves," said Dodge City head coach Mark James. "I thought we were competitive and had a lot of energy in the first half. We didn't execute well in the first half, but we were controlling the boards and shooting the three well. We just didn't answer the bell in the second half."
Kesha Buckner led Dodge City with 11 points and nine rebounds, while Samantha Herrera added nine in the loss. The Lady Conqs (14-13, 1-10 Jayhawk West) made only five of their 25 shots after intermission.
