Women's Basketball Members Join Record Book Ranks

Sophomores Kesha Buckner and Kelli Tolar finished their careers with the Conqs on Wednesday, but they still made an impact in the record books during their 2-year stay.  Buckner shattered the rebounding record in both season and career statistics.  She had 395 rebounds this year with a career record of 603.  The previous records were 331 (season) and 549 (career).  Buckner also broke the season record for assists at 178.  She and Tolar both joined the career ranks for assists.  Azaria Nave joined her for the season assist record book with 123.  Buckner joined the record books in career points (551), season free throws made (106), career free throws made (166), career assists (212), season steals (92) and career steals (143).  Tolar broke both the season and career records for 3-point field goals made with 92 (season) and 141 (career).  She also joined the record books in season points (576), career points (551), season field goals made (183), career field goals made (291), season free throws made (118), career free throws made (183), and career assists (139).  Besides Nave, two other freshman entered the record books as well.  Alejandra Esparza-Raglin joined the season record books for points (401) and blocks (45).  Hannah Whitaker also joined the season record book for blocks with 42.
