Season Ends for Soccer

Both the men's and women's soccer teams came up short this weekend for the first round of the Region VI playoffs, ending both their seasons.  The women played Johnson County on Saturday, losing 9-0.  They end their season with a record of 9-11.  Kayla Turner led the team with 23 goals.  She also had 72 shots and 45 shots on goal.  Goal keeper Karly Day had 39 goals against her and 67 saves with one shutout.
The men took on Cloud County on Sunday with high hopes but were shut down as Cloud won 2-0.  The Conqs end the season with a record of 9-9-1.  Ben Carter led the team with 9 goals and 5 assists.  He also had 41 shots and 24 shots on goal.  Goal keeper Alex Rodela had 21 goals against him with 59 saves and 2 shutouts.
