Baseball Has 3 On All-Conference Teams

Three members of the DC3 Baseball team earned postseason awards for their efforts throughout the season.
Sophomore Pitcher Ross Vance was named 1st Team All-Conference. Vance, who has signed to continue his baseball career at West Virginia University, went 8-3 with a 2.00 ERA in 67.1 Innings and striking out 55. Vance was the ace of a pitching staff that had a very respectable team ERA of 4.23.
Sophomore Outfielder Chris Ramsey earned Honorable Mention All-Conference. Ramsey, who started 104 games in his 2 years for the Conqs, hit .290 with 28 RBI's and scored 24 runs this past season. Ramsey, who is known more for his defense, led the team with 5 Outfield assists.
Freshman Pitcher Clayton Brewster also earned Honorable Mention All-Conference. Brewster joined the starting rotation in the early stages of the season and solidified himself as one of the top returning arms in the conference for next year. Brewster went 5-2 with a 2.78 ERA in 58.1 Innings, while striking out 49 batters and only allowing 39 hits.
DC3 ended the season with a record of 32-23 and have a core nucleus returning for what looks to be a bright future ahead for DC3 Baseball.
