Dodge City Community College Adult Learning Center Receives $10,000 Grant

from Dollar General Literacy Foundation to Support English literacy and GED preparation

Dodge City, KAN – May 15 – This week, the Dollar General Literacy Foundation awarded Dodge City Community College Adult Learning Center a $10,000 grant to support literacy.  This local grant award is part of more than $7.5 million in grants awarded to nearly 900 schools, nonprofits and organizations across the 44 states that Dollar General serves.

“For the third year in a row, we are partnering with Dollar General Literacy to provide enhanced language literacy learning in our ESL and GED programs.  2018 will be an exciting year at the Adult Learning Center with the opportunities the DG grant will provide.” Brandie Ferguson, Director.

The DC3 Adult Learning Center offer English as a Second Language (ESL) and General Educational Development (GED) to members of the community seeking greater opportunities for employment and post-secondary education.
