Coach
Majeski enters his fourth year at the helm of the Conquistador
Football program.
Majeski has a wide array of
coaching experience. He came to Dodge City from Coffeyville
Community College where he spent two seasons as Defensive
Coordinator and Head Strength Coach. He spent one season at
Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Texas, where he was
the Offensive Line Coach and Residence Hall Director.
From 2003-2005, he was the
Offensive Coordinator at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska.
From 2000-2002, he was the Head Football Coach and Offensive
Coordinator at Black Hills State University in Spearfish, South
Dakota.
He was the Assistant Head
Football Coach and Defensive Coordinator at Kansas Wesleyan
University in Salina, Kansas from 1991 until 1996. Prior to
that, Majeski also spent time as a
Defensive Coordinator at Rocky Mountain College in Billings,
Montana and one other year at Trinity Valley Community College
as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach.
Majeski is a native of Omaha,
Nebraska and a graduate of Millard High School in Omaha. Majeski
has a Master of Arts Degree in physical education from Kearney
State College and a Bachelor of Science Degree with an emphasis
in physical education from The University of Nebraska-Omaha.
Bob played football at Kansas
State University from 1980-1983 and also ran track. Bob has a
lovely wife Cheryl and two daughters, Maddison and Mandy.
Through his marriage to Cheryl, Bob has two stepchildren Michael
and Sara and five grandchildren

David Snodgrass joins the Dodge City
Community College coaching staff after spending the previous
four seasons at Garden City Community College.
Coach Snodgrass spent four seasons on
the offensive side of the ball at Garden City Community College.
In his final season, Snodgrass was in charge of the offensive
line. In his first two seasons with the Busters, Coach Snodgrass
was in charge of running back and special teams. During that
tenure, the Busters ranked 3rd in rushing in the Jayhawk
both years and have become the most explosive running attack in
the Jayhawk. In 2008 both running backs Ryan Smith and Chase Bieberle lead the Jayhawk in yds/carry and were in the top ranks
in total scoring. Snodgrass also coached Maurice Greer who is
now a member of the Troy State football program. Maurice was a
honorable-mention All-Jayhawk performer in 2007.
Prior to Garden City, Snodgrass served
as the secondary coach and the special teams coordinator at
Wingate University (D-2 program in the South Atlantic
Conference). As the Bulldog secondary coach, Snodgrass help lead
the Wingate secondary to several national rankings in total
interceptions, pass defense, and pass defense efficiency.
His tenure at Wingate also included a
total of two back to back All- S.A.C. corners, a 1st Team Punt
returner, a two-time ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District III
1st Team and one All-American. Snodgrass helped the
Wingate defensive backs snag a South Atlantic Conference-leading
17 interceptions in 2005. The Bulldogs were third in the SAC in
pass defense in 2005, allowing only 176.6 passing yards per
contest. In addition, Wingate was second in pass defense
efficiency (103.9). The Bulldogs finished the season ranked 27th
nationally in pass defense efficiency, ranking second in the
season’s fifth week.
Snodgrass also served as the secondary
coach and the special teams coordinator for three years at
McPherson College, an NAIA school located in McPherson, Kansas.
Snodgrass helped assist the McPherson Bulldogs to back-to-back
third-place finishes in the KCAC and a national ranking of 19,
the highest in school history.
While at McPherson College, Snodgrass
coached secondary units that ranked nationally in the NAIA in
pass defense (6th in 2002 and 11th in 2003). He also was able to
coach one All-American, one Academic All-America and 8 All-KCAC
secondary players over his three-year tenure at McPherson.
As the special teams coordinator at
McPherson, Snodgrass helped the kicking game unit finish in the
top 1/3 of every category in the KCAC during the 2004 season.
Also, he coached a kick return specialist to first team All-KCAC
honors and a number four national ranking in kick returns. Both
the punter and the kicker received All-KCAC honors under his
tutelage.
During his playing days, Snodgrass
received All-KCAC honors as a free safety/strong safety his
final two seasons. Snodgrass was invited to play in the 2001
National All-Stars College Football Classic as a senior. He also
had the privilege to coach in the same all-star game during the
spring of 2003 and 2004. Snodgrass has also had two secondary
articles published in American Football Monthly during his
tenure at Wingate University.
Snodgrass holds a B.S. degree in both
psychology and sociology from McPherson College. Snodgrass and
his wife Kelley have a son, Brodie Heisman, and daughter, Tegan
LouAnn.

Rusty Morgan joins the Conquistador staff
after two years on the Pittsburg State University football
staff. Morgan spent two years as a graduate assistant
coach assisting with the Gorillas’ linebackers, after enjoying a
decorated playing career for the Gorillas.
Morgan, a Cushing, Okla., native earned honorable mention
All-America honors as an inside linebacker for the Gorillas as a
senior in 2008. He finished his five-year career with 266
tackles, including a 106 during his senior campaign.
Morgan, who earned a bachelor’s degree in physical education
from Pittsburg State in 2009, is currently pursuing a master’s
degree in physical education from Pitt State.

Coach Bill Griffith enters his first year
at Dodge City Community College after spending the 2010 season
at Garden City Community College. At Garden City, Coach Griffith
coached the defensive line. Coach Griffith has spend time
at four different Jayhawk conference schools including Butler,
Fort Scott, Hutchinson as well as Garden City
Griffith began his coaching career in
2000 at Northern Heights High School, where he coached offense
and defensive line. During this time the Wildcats reached
the playoffs for the first time in 13 years. Griffith played a
key role in the Wildcat’s turn around that year providing
offense and defensive calls from the upstairs booth as well as
halftime adjustments. Bill also served as a recruiting liaison
to assist juniors and seniors in the recruiting process to
college. During this time he began his career on the radio as an
on air personality for KVOE radio out of Emporia.
Once Bill graduated from Emporia State
University, he moved to New York to pursue a career in the
Entertainment business. His first gig included doing voice over
work for Dan Levine Productions out of Albany, New York. Then he
landed several small market commercials in New Jersey for
Comcast Cable. Griffith attended The New York School of Film and
Television specializing in voice-overs. He then took a job with
Elite Entertainment and was voted Entertainer of the year in
2004.
Although the entertainment business was
fun and fruitful, it was not his passion. Once Griffith returned
to Kansas, he pursued his career in coaching college football.
His first opportunity came at Butler Community College where he
assisted the defensive side of the ball, specifically working
with the defensive line and linebackers. At Butler, Griffith had
the opportunity to coach First Team All-American Paul Griffin
and future NFL prospect Jeremy Geathers.
Griffith continued his winning success
at Fort Scott Community College. He played an extremely
important role in turning around a program that had not won a
game in two years. Along with coaching running backs, Griffith
assisted in running all special teams. Griffith coached running
back Javonnnie Franklin who was voted to 2nd Team Jayhawk
All-Conference and had the highest yards per carry in the
Jayhawk Conference.
Coach Griffith then spent a season at
Hutchinson Community College where he coached the defensive line
and played a large part in the recruiting process Jayhawk
Conference Defensive player of the year Eugene Kinlaw.
He attended Emporia State University and received his BA in
Communication. During his time at Emporia he was a four year
starter at defensive end and voted team captain, as well as most
inspirational player. Griffith was selected to All-Conference
honors in 97, 98, and 99. Coach Griffith also participated in
Track & Field at ESU throwing the javelin and received academic
honors in 2000. He played in the College All-Star game in Texas
in 2001 where he was named the MVP gathering 2.5 sacks, a forced
fumble, 4 tackles for loss and 12 total tackles
Griffith is from Marion, Kansas where
he graduated from Marion High School and was an all-state
running back, all-league punter and all area kicker. Griffith
lettered in football, basketball and track, winning class 3A
championship in the javelin in 1996. |

Jean Cherizol begins his first year as
member of the Dodge City Community College football staff.
Cherizol had spent the past three seasons as a member of the
Troy University football staff. He served as a student
administrative assistant for the team. Cherizol assisted in many
aspects of the Trojan program, including monitoring academic
progress, player evaluations and other administrative duties.
Cherziol, a native of Pompano Beach,
Florida, is 2010 graduate of Troy University. He received his
bachelor’s degree in Sport and Fitness Management. Cherizol is
currently pursuing his Master’s degree.

Coach David Walker joins the Conquistador football coaching
staff after spending the past three seasons an the University of
Northern Colorado. At UNC, Coach Walker worked with the
tight ends.
Walker joined the Bears after spending three seasons as the
offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at The Colony High
School in The Colony, Texas.
Prior to The Colony, Walker spent one season each at Navasota
High School and Port Arthur Memorial High School, both in Texas.
He worked with the quarterbacks at both high schools.
Walker began his collegiate playing days at Northwestern State
on the gridiron, but injuries cut his football career short. He
turned his attention to baseball and concluded his collegiate
career at West Virginia, earning a bachelor's degree in English
in 2003.
