Conqs start fall drills

Dodge City, KS (August 7, 2010) - The Conquistador football team has opened up its 2010 training camp today.  A mixture of 103 returning players, transfers and incoming freshmen took to the field this morning and went through a two hour practice session. 

A good number of returners made things a bit easier for the Conquistador coaching staff. "We have returners that know what we expect and know how we expect things to be done" according to Coach Bob Majeski. 

The Conquistadors will practice once on Sunday and Monday before their first two-a-day on Tuesday in accordance to NJCAA guidelines.

The Conquistadors, who were picked 7th at the KJCCC Media day,  will look to improve from last year's 1-8 record when they meet Cisco (TX) Junior College in the regular season opener on August 28th.
