Conquistadors picked 7th

Wichita, KS (July 31, 2010) The Conquistador football team has been picked to finish 7th in the 2010 preseason coaches poll at the annual KJCCC football media day. Perennial conference power, Butler, topped the poll while last years conference and region champs, Fort Scott, was picked second. 

The Conquistadors will look to improve from last year's 1-8 record when they open up fall practice on Saturday, August 7th.  The regular season opener will be at Cisco (TX) Junior College on August 28th. The first home football game will be on September 18th, as the Conquistadors will host the Independence Pirates.
