Suggested Curriculum
The Graphic Design program at Dodge City Community College is a two-year, broad based program requiring courses in graphic design, animation, photography, digital still and video photography, web design, desktop publishing and various art courses.  The primary objectives of the program are to educate students in both creative and analytical thought, as well as technological and practical skills.  Graduates can expect to be readily employable in the graphic arts industry, or they can choose to pursue an advanced degree at a four-year institution.  A degree in Graphic Design would lead to careers developing creative, persuasive and inspirational content in the publishing industry, including the overall layout and content used in newspapers, journals, corporate reports, and other publications as well as web page design and content.
