DC Golf Adds One For Next Year

Zackery Proffitt, senior at Hutchinson High School, signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) and Scholarship Agreement to play golf at Dodge City Community College for the 2012-13 season.

Zack transferred to Hutchinson High School in 2010 from ThunderRidge High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado where he lettered and qualified for Colorado State 5A Golf Championship as a sophomore. Zack competed in the Kansas 6A State Championship last year for the Salthawks and is hoping to return to State this spring during his senior year.
 

Zack is the son of Race and Marnie Proffitt.

Both Golf Teams Are Ranked

With the release of the NJCAA Division I Men's Golf poll today, the DC3 golf team is ranked 13th.  The DC3 women's golf team is ranked 20th in junior colleges by Golf Stat. 

Conqs Finish 5th in Championship Preview

The Conq golf team finished 5th in the NJCAA Championship Preview at Newton, KS, on October 17-18.  The Conqs finished with a 955 and finished behind Odessa CC (910), New Mexico CC (918), Indian Hills CC (941) and Iowa Western CC (954).  The highest individual Conq was Mariano Rossi, who finished tied for 6th with a 230.  Other individual Conq results: tied for 17th at 238 Taylor Onley and Alex Tiong, tied for 24th at 243 Alex Zuzelski and Loran Richmeier, 39th Parker Dolezal (248), and tied for 45th at 252 Adam Zuzelski and Bobby Taggart.

NJCAA Division I PING All-America and All-District Teams Named
