The DC3 Baseball team lost 3 of 4 games over the weekend to league leading Colby.  On Saturday, Walker Rainwater threw a complete game and only gave up 1 run, but the DC bats were unable to score any runs in a 1-0 loss.  Game 2 was also a pitchers duel until the 6th inning, when Colby put together an 8 run inning and DC came back with a 5 run inning of their own.  Dodge pushed across another run but that was all they would get in an 8-6 loss.  On Sunday, DC had a 4-2 lead heading in the 5th inning of game 1.  Again, Colby had another big inning, scoring 6 runs, and winning 8-5.  In game 2, Dodge jumped out in front 3-0 in the 1st inning.  DC pitchers were able to avoid the big inning and the Conqs salvaged 1 win on the weekend by a score of 6-5.  After the weekend, DC is now 12-20 overall and 6-14 in the Jayhawk.
