Student Identification and Activity Card
Students enrolled in six hours or more receive an activity ID card from Student Services. This card provides admittance to all regular, college-sponsored events except for those sponsored by the cultural arts department. It must be updated each semester in the Business Office. An ID card may be revoked if used by any person other than the original recipient. There is a $5.00 charge for a new ID card, regardless of the reason for the reissue.
Cultural Enrichment
Dodge City Community College believes that cultural growth is an important component in the overall educational growth of its students. As a result, it has developed a Cultural Arts Program which contracts musical, theatrical, and other entertainment groups for campus performance. Students encounter talent and cultural experiences otherwise not available. Community residents are welcome to attend.
Moral, Ethical, Spiritual Development
Dodge City Community College and its surrounding area provide a wealth of opportunities for students to develop the spiritual aspects of their lives. Students are encouraged to explore activities, courses, and other introspective opportunities that cultivate morality, ethical behavior, and spiritual belief. The College offers courses in religion, philosophy, psychology, and sociology, along with an array of student activities. The Dodge City community offers a wide variety of church affiliations for students who wish to enhance their spiritual well-being.
