RECRUITING:  2 more members Jase Herl and Kelsey Kliewer makes 20 new ones this semester.  Deadline to be in program is 4:00 Thursday.

 

Induction Ceremony/Party:  Reviewed who would do what during the ceremony.  Gave out scripts.

Set up Friday 3:30-5:00 Student Union Board Room.  Rehearsal place, date & time:  Friday 3:30-5:00 Student Union Board Room.  Come Sunday, March 30th @ 2:00 to complete set up of head tables and refreshment table.  Ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m. Invite your family & friends.

 

SGA Report:  none

 

Regional Conference Report:  looked at Juliann’s pictures.

 

Western District Vice President: We will find out if Gilbert is selected at International Convention during the Kansas Region meeting.

 

International Conference:  Discussed the costs that the chapter would pay and how Gilbert’s expenses would be handled.  Gilbert will use his personal credit card, keep his receipts and be reimbursed.

 

Employee Recognition Banquet Need 6-8 Servers April 8th 6-8 p.m.:  Advisors Chuck & Fran, Juliann and Gilbert and April will serve.  SGA is also serving.

 

Gourmet Lollypops –over 1,350 to sell.  Everyone needs to get busy selling them!

 

Snack Bar Report:  Fran has sold a few bottles of water & pop to employees.

Next sales opportunities:  The April 10th Symphony, The Musical on April 18, 19, 20th, Jazz concert on April 24th and the Wind Ensemble concert on May 1st.  The ball games don’t have enough attendance.

 

New rolling cooler:  Decided to purchase a new rolling cooler.  Fran will do the PO.

 

Raffle fundraiser for American Cancer Society: Gilbert collected 4 $10 Montana Mike’s certificates for prizes.  Fran will make the tickets: $1 each, or 6 for $5.  All proceeds go to American Cancer Society.

 

Voice Your Vote/Voter Registration decided to do it next fall.

 

HS National Honor Society: No reply to Gilbert’s e-mail.

 

Operation Green Report

DCCC hired a new head grounds keeper.  Probably should discuss projects with him.  No information on who it is as yet.  Triangle north of Science Annex may still be a possibility for planting shrubs.

 

OFFICERS FOR 08-09 school year  We need to elect our new officer team and start their training.

Members who will attend DCCC in 2008-2009 are eligible.

 

Next Meeting:  Meet Friday at 3:30 in Fine Arts 228.  Help transport things to the Student Union.
