Season Preview

 
The 2008-09 season saw the DCCC women’s golf team finish the year with the team   qualifying for the NJCAA Women’s National Tournament for the fifth time in Daytona Beach, Florida. The 2008-2009 season ended with four individual KJCCC conference winners, undefeated in conference, three second place finishes. Emma Cutmore and Randee Stegman also closed out the 2009 season with two conference wins each and were named first and second team ALL-KJCCC. Emma Cutmore was named 2nd team All-American and the team finished 10th place at the NJCAA Women’s National tournament in Daytona Beach, Florida.
 
The -2009-10 team will have two new additions and four returning players from the 2008-09 team, sophomores Kristen Ronnenbaum (Rossville, KS) who last year’s individual score helped the team to 10th place finish in Daytona Beach.  Bri Ann Howell, 2009 All-KJCCC All-Academic Team, First team All-KJCCC, Abby Barlow, First Team All-KJCCC, and Kayla Schmidt.
With these four the 2009-10 season will have the DCCC women’s golf program competing four their 7th NJCAA Region 6 championship in ten years and their ninth KJCCC conference titles.
