FORDHAM WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
ANNOUNCES SIGNEES FOR 2006-07 SEASON
Bronx, NY - (November 28, 2005) – Fordham Women’s Basketball
Head Coach Jim Lewis announced the signing of four recruits for the 2006-07
season on Monday, as guard Beth Troutt (Wichita, KS/Wichita North (Dodge City
CC)), center Lindsey Kingsland (Orange, CA/El Modena), guard/forward Erin Gray
(Clifton Park, NY/Shenendehowa), and guard Gina Giambanco (Massapequa,
NY/Massapequa) have all signed national letters of intent to play at Fordham.
Troutt, a 5-11 guard from Wichita, KS, is currently playing her sophomore season
at Dodge City Community College, and was a teammate of current Ram Lisa Carrol
last season. She averaged just under four points her freshman season, but has
come out shooting in year two, scoring close to 20 points per game, as she has
helped Dodge City to a 10-1 mark to start the 2005-06 season. In high school,
Troutt was a Third Team All-State selection at Wichita North High School as a
senior, averaging 15.6 points and six rebounds a contest, while also garnering
First Team All-City honors. Beside her play on the court, she was an outstanding
student, as she was named the Wichita North Salutatorian as a senior.
